Come celebrate our great nation and town pride as the Fort Myers Beach 4th of July parade makes it way down Estero Blvd with its colorful floats and costumed participants! The parade starts at Bay Oaks Recreation Center at 10am and continues down the boulevard to Times Square. ***The Matanzas Pass Bridge will be closed from 9am until 12pm for the parade.

After the parade will be the patriotic event at Times Square from 12pm-2pm. Activities include patriotic crafts, a watermelon eating contest and a dunk tank.

At approximately 8:45pm, the Fort Myers Beach 4th of July fireworks show is scheduled at Times Square. Please bring a chair or blanket. Closing time for the Matanzas Pass bridge is 9:30pm-11pm to oncoming traffic. You'll be able to get off the island but not on.
